Solution-Pac WAN for Linux (for serial UPSs only) has been tested with recent majors Linux distributions (RedHat, Mandrake, Debian, SuSE, Slackware), but should also be compatible with latest releases, and any other distributions (Gentoo, Xandros, Lindows, …).

In order to use UM-Client configuration tool (UM-Editor) a JVM (Java Virtual Machine) is needed on your system before installation. However, in case of Linux Red Hat 6.2 systems, the use of Blackdown JVM (www.sun.com) is recommended.
