SPIE TRINDEL
3 technicians from Spie Trindel (France) were recently in Grenoble for training on MGE UPSs. Our team met them and asked a few questions.

"We have never really had any problems with MGE UPSs. Most of our maintenance operations are preventive and repairs are rarely necessary."

Interview
What type of MGE UPSs have you recently purchased?
Our reason for coming here is not the recent purchase of specific products, but rather to train on the operation and maintenance of UPSs belonging to a number of ranges.
We use virtually all MGE product ranges to build custom solutions matching the requirements of our customers. It is especially in the context of such new project services that we purchase most of the MGE UPSs that end up on our customers' sites.

Why did you initially look to MGE UPS SYSTEMS to satisfy your customers' power protection needs?
Probably because we come from the same family.
Three years ago, we belonged to the Schneider Electric group, just like MGE.

Even though we are no longer part of the Schneider Electric group, we still share a certain corporate culture and know we can count on MGE for products that offer high performance and reliability.

That means you are satisfied with your choice?
Absolutely. We have never really had any problems with MGE UPSs.
Most of our maintenance operations are preventive and repairs are rarely necessary.

What do you think of MGE training?

The training is very useful to keep us up to date on the new ranges and to understand their operation as well as the possible technical problems that we may encounter.
In our opinion, the training is of excellent quality and the instructors are both competent and friendly.

In your opinion, what is the future of Spie Trindel in France and in Europe?
At present, we are one of the two leading electrical contractors in France. Our objective for the years to come is to capture a major share of the European market.
We have already started by setting up operations in Spain, Portugal and Belgium. In the 5 to 10 years to come, Spie Trindel will take on a major European dimension.
