STATOIL
Four technicians from Statoil (Norway) were recently in Grenoble for training on MGE UPSs.

"Yes, the MGE solution has met all our expectations. It is the first time we have worked with MGE, but we definitely hope to continue in the future."

Interview

How did you learn about MGE UPS SYSTEMS and the solutions offered?
We were already familiar with MGE UPS SYSTEMS but had never worked directly with the company.
We first contacted MGE for a project called AASGARD-H for floating protection of loading storage. Siemens was our usual supplier however, given the importance of this project, we decided to contact a true UPS specialist.

What MGE UPSs did you purchase?
We chose four Galaxy 1000 kVA UPSs to equip a new tanker.
We didn't make a detailed comparison of the products offered by various suppliers because we had detailed specifications for the protection of the electrical installations of our new Tanker.

After receiving a number of propositions, we chose MGE UPS SYSTEMS for their fine reputation and the fact that their solution best satisfied our specific needs.

Are you completely satisfied with your choice?
Yes, the MGE solution has met all our expectations. It is the first time we have worked with MGE, but we definitely hope to continue in the future.

What do you think of the training offered by MGE ?

The training was perfectly adapted to our needs. We were already familiar with UPS maintenance, but wanted specific training on the products we had purchased.
We are now sure to be able to maintain this equipment effectively.

We received a fine welcome and the training was excellent. The only problem we had was the language barrier outside the Training Centre. We speak English and communication was not always easy. Our training lasted 3 days and given our experience, this was largely sufficient.
