MGE's Critical Bus Synchronization
(CBS) Module synchronizes the outputs of two or more independent UPSs.
Synchronized outputs allows the critical load
to be transferred to any UPS at any instant, maximizing
the availability of all the UPSs.
If the UPSs are not synchronized, transferring the critical load between
UPS may be inhibited to protect the load from damage and interruption.
Combined with the MGE
Digital Static Transfer Switch (automatically selects the preferred
source from two input sources), loads can be transferred from one
UPS source to another with no interruption, enhancing
power system reliability.
Because multiple power sources are available, UPSs can be serviced
without interruption to the critical load for easy
maintainability. |
